This ecological survey is designed to highlight any sites where there is potential conflict between engineering works (e.g. overhead line refurbishments, trenching, tower maintenance) and protected species and sensitive habitats.

A desk survey is carried out initially to gather any relevant information, such as statutory designations and recorded protected species data from the relevant biological records offices. Wherever there is an environmental issue that needs to be addressed, the Surveyor will record the species/habitat likely to be affected, the exact location (including a digital photo of the site), a description of the problem and details of any mitigation that is needed to address the problem.

1.      Desk study - £1000 per route plus £30 per km

2.      Field survey -

Minimum order = 5 towers/poles or 2kms for a route survey. If less is required we would be happy to provide a POA.
